Subsidy

As far as subsidy (SCA to SCP) is concerned, it is normally limited to 50% of the project cost or Rs.10,000/- whichever is lower. The subsidy will be given to the self employment beneficiaries who are below the poverty line based on the certificate issued by the Block Development Officers / Scheduled Castes Development Officers showing that he/she has not availed subsidy and subject to the availability of fund from Government.

As SCA to TSP Fund is not provided the subsidy is not being given to the self employment Scheduled Tribe beneficiaries.

However in the case of programmes like Land Purchase Scheme, subsidy is allowable up to a higher amount of Rs. 50,000/-.
