Policy Principles

Key Policy Principles Adopted by the Corporation to Guide its Future Course of Action:

Inorder to reach the benefits of Corporation's multifaceted activities and schemes to the maximum eligible members of the target group within the limited time available.

  • Enhance the awareness of our programmes among the beneficiaries through multi-level campaigning and publicity.
  • Cover all the prospective beneficiaries under a comprehensive programme on skill development related to the areas chosen by them for investment and channelise maximum credit to those beneficiaries who have undergone such intensive training to elevate their level of motivation and calibre in the chosen field of income-generation. This will be materialised by making tie-up with various training institutions in the govt. sector indulged in vocational skill development programmes.
  • Keep a regular interaction with the beneficiaries and various social groups and intellectuals related to them to assess their actual needs and aspirations so as to devise the programmes accordingly rather than going by the conventional centralised planning process.
  • Conduct timely evaluation and monitoring of schemes implemented on regular basis to ensure their cost effectiveness and timely execution and appraise their impact on the overall living conditions of the target group.
  • Generate maximum resources from within the organisation itself by reinforcing the recovery mechanism of loans released.
  • Make the organisational activities more transparent and decentralised in nature by delegating more powers to regional offices so as to ensure efficient and speedy execution of projects.
  • Complete the ongoing computerisation process on a  time bound schedule and thereby empower  the  MIS by creation and development of a data  bank for  all purposes of decision –making.
  • Promote 'Micro Credit Finance Programme' as a key instrument of poverty eradication especially among rural beneficiaries and women and also link it with the  ' self-help group ' concept to promote group ventures for economic development. This will be materialised by linking our credit with SGSY Programme of the Ministry of Rural Development.
  • Impart training to both managerial and ministerial personnel as part of upgradating their skills and thereby improving the operational efficiency of the Organisation.
